Andrea, a certified ayurvedic lifestyle educator, will guide you through these five classes, as well as one private session.  The program is designed to empower you with knowledge on how to balance your mind & body throughout your life. A combination of lecture, discussion, meditation and experiential components comprise each session. 

  1. Fundamentals of Ayurveda. We will start with the basics of Ayurveda, Medication & Yoga.  Learn about the three primary body-mind principles (doshas) VATA, PITTA, KAPHA.  You will identify YOUR dosha type and learn about unique imbalances.  Learn simple movements to keep your mind & body flexible & help elimate stress.
  2. Food is Medicine.  Explore how to choose the most nourishing foods for your mind-body type. Learn all about ojas, ama & agni.  Andrea shares how these 3 basic principles and simple ayurvedic lifestyle practices help you achieve and maintain vibrant health. 
  3. Rejuvenation & Renewal.   Learn how to identify and eliminate toxins, which can accumulate in the mind & body.  Discover gentle rejuvenating techniques and holistic practices to reduce anxiety and stress.  Achieve balance and health by incorporating a personal daily routine into your life, and learn the secrets of restful sleep.
  4. Emotional Freedom.   Enhance your relationships through the practice of conscious communication and transform your relationships.  Emotional freedom is essential to our physical, mental & emotional health. 
  5. Inner Pharmacy.  Learn how to use the healing power of the five senses (sound, touch, sight, taste and smell). Nourish your mind-body, while achieving and maintaining balance. 
  6. A private one-on-one session with Andrea, following the five step wellness program. We will create a personal action plan for you & discuss personal questions.
